Renowned photo-journalist Lynn Johnson shot these images for The Burden of Thirst feature in the April 2010 special water issue of National Geographic. Prints of all the images are now available for sale to benefit WaterAid's vital work bringing safe water, sanitation and improved hygiene to the world's poorest communities.

The online gallery will be available on megree until November 5th. The Burden of Thirst gallery exhibition of photographs was held on September 23rd from 5:30-10PM at the Soho Gallery in New York.
